Tourism and Creative Economy Minister (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Uno praised the role of young people who have made important contributions to the ASEAN+Youth Summit 2023.

According to him, Indonesian young people had contributed and thought about ASEAN connectivity in the sustainability of the green economy, which was being discussed by the leaders of ASEAN countries.
"We want to make sure they take a strategic and central role in ensuring the availability of jobs and sustainability issues," he expressed, Thursday (9/7).

"We know Hollywood is not doing well. So, we will offer Indonesia and ASEAN not only production hubs, but also talent hubs," he expressed.
One of the arts workers, Raline Shah, thinks that Indonesia is full of creative people, so many young people see great potential in this industry.
"Young people now see the potential of the creative industry as much greater than corporations. This is what we must build," she explained.
Recently, she added, many artistic traditions have risen from extinction, such as traditional dances that have been merged into modern dances.
"I think whatever industry we have to pay attention. The resources from there will be something big," she stated.
