It is important to rebuild a strong and inclusive economy in the future.
"There needs to be adequate support, thus they can prioritize the quality of their products. It aims to make a positive contribution in supporting efforts to restore the economic health of society as a whole," he explained.
To follow up on these directions, the Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (PPKUKM) has prepared various development and coaching programs for MSMEs in Jakarta.
Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo stated her agency had several strategies to look for opportunities to improve the economy. Among other things, by using an e-order system and business matching activities. The use of domestic products had also been implemented within the Jakarta Government when purchasing goods or services via e-catalog.
"The Program for Increasing the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) is applied at every realization of the City Budget (APBD), thus it can be measured. This is proven by the realization of the P3DN commitment in the Jakarta Government which reached 91.82 percent," she explained.
Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security Agency (KPKP) Head, Suharini Eliawati uttered that his party had also implemented an MSME development program to strengthen the economy of urban and coastal communities through various food products and handicrafts.
"Thus far, we have developed around 19,000 MSMEs. They are engaged in urban agriculture, animal husbandry, and fisheries. We have also succeeded in obtaining agricultural products up to the second quarter of 2023 reaching 97.08 tons," she explained.
He uttered this success could not be separated from the synergy made with various parties to ensure that MSMEs in Jakarta could advance to class. Hopefully, the diversity of MSMEs in various sectors could also strengthen overall economic resilience and make a major contribution to creating jobs and increasing people's income through affordable products and services.
