Embankment Painting on Untung Jawa Island Completed

The Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency successfully completed painting the barrier embankment at RT 02/03, east side of the Amiterdam Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Untung Jawa Island, South Seribu Islands.

Untung Jawa Island Urban Village SDA Coordinator, Mahiar said it aims to make the boundary embankment more beautiful and emphasize the boundary line of the island when seen from afar.
"We paint the embankment up to 350 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. Its painting starts from the front of RPTRA Park to Sepandan Beach," he expressed, Friday (9/22).

"Weather conditions are also favorable, so the paint dries quickly. In painting it, we used five paint cans in three colors," he added.
Untung Jawa Island Urban Village Head, Sidartawan uttered his area was being rearranged after being chosen to represent other islands in the assessment of Healthy Districts/Cities (KKS) and the Climate Village Program.
"It aims to create a sense of comfortable for locals and tourists," he stated.
