Bridge Between Villages on Jalan Pulo Gundul Repaired

The Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency is seen repairing the bridge between villages on Jalan Pulo Gundul, Johar Baru.

It has been ongoing since two weeks and is targeted to be completed this week

Johar Baru Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Ika Dwi said the bridge between villages connected RW 10, Tanah Tinggi with RW 01, Johar Baru.

"This bridge has 20 meters long. The damage lies in its railing up to 15 meters," she expressed, Monday (7/10).

This Week, Marunda Bridge Repairs Completed

She explained the damaged bridge railing would be replaced with a new railing. The repair itself involved five workers from Johar Baru.

"It has been ongoing since two weeks and is targeted to be completed this week," she explained.

Aside that, the bridge would also be repainted black and yellow. Unfortunately, the repair was hampered by rainy weather, which made the process take a long time.

"It will take a long time. Moreover, the bridge railing must be welded as neatly as possible for long durability," she explained.

After it was done, locals could use the bridge safely and comfortably.

"Hopefully, I won't worry anymore when I cross the bridge," he hoped.
