Five Bridges on Jalan Menteng Tenggulun Being Repaired

As many as five bridges between villages on Jalan Menteng Tenggulun, RW 01, Menteng are being repaired.

It has been ongoing since September 20

Menteng Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Reza Febriyanto said the five bridges repaired are right above the Keroncong River.

It was carried out, as the bridge railing had suffered a lot of damage, making it dangerous for local residents who were passing by.

September, Repairs to Four Bridges in North Jakarta Completed

"It has been ongoing since September 20," he expressed, Tuesday (9/26).

Those bridges connect the RT 05 area with RT 01 in RW 01. They have varying sizes with a width of 1.5 meters and a length of between six and seven meters.

The repairs include welding broken railings, adding roads, making parapets or embankments, and even repainting.

"The work progress has touched 60 percent and is targeted to be completed this week," he explained.

To smoothen it, his side involved around seven personnel to the location.

"Hopefully, residents can take part in maintaining the bridge by not committing vandalism," he hoped.

Menteng Urban Village Head, Dedy Tjahyadi thanked the Bina Marga Task Force personnel who had moved quickly to repair bridges between villages in their area.

"After being repaired, we will urge them to care it together," he stated.
