7,385 Tourists Swarm Seribu Islands During Long Holidays

A total of 7,385 tourists visited tour sites in Seribu Islands during the long holiday season, precisely from Thursday (9/28) to Sunday (10/1).

They visit residential islands

Promotional Attractions and Creative Economy Division Head, Ahmad Farihin said thousands of tourists came through the Marina Ancol, Kali Adem, Tanjung Pasir, and Rawa Saban piers.

"Last Islamic New Year holiday, the number of passengers fluctuated. There are approximately 7,385 tourists over the past four days," he expressed, Monday (10/2).

250 Participants Take Cultural Tour to Setu Babakan

Of 7,385 tourists, 2,315 came through the Marina Ancol Pier Gate, 4,122 were through the Kaliadem Pier, 859 were through the Tanjung Pasir Pier, and 86 were through the Rawa Saban Pier.

"They visit residential islands, as the tourist attractions have supported the addition of new spots, culinary delights, and so on," he explained.

He added the tourism sector is one of the mainstays for driving the economy and improving the welfare of residents in Seribu Islands.

"We have planned to have more festival activities or events that could be an attraction for tourists," he stated.
