Some 28 buildings in Central Jakarta simultaneously spray water mist generators combined with eco enzyme to reduce pollutants in the surrounding area.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma said Eco enzyme is a medium that can enable bioremediation. This method uses living bacterial organisms whose job is to capture pollutants in the air.

When being sprayed, these bacteria form a compound that is non-toxic and harmless to living things.

"The bacteria that are fired multiply by consuming the pollutants. So, the more pollutants that are captured, the more air quality will automatically be cleaned," he expressed, Monday (10/9).

In this spraying, the party synergized with Eco Enzyme Nusantara which has a strong commitment to processing vegetable and fruit waste.

"We spray it simultaneously in 28 private and government buildings. Spraying monitoring is done online via the Zoom application," he expressed.

His party is also campaigning for the benefits of eco enzyme for the community.

"Eco enzymes can also be of economic value if developed well," he added.

Eco Enzym Central Nusantara Deputy Secretary General 1, Julia Ojong added the eco enzyme liquid distributed in 28 buildings was the result of donations from volunteers.

"We share it for free. The dose sprayed is one milliliter of eco enzyme," he stated.

Hopefully, people could reduce air pollution in Jakarta by making eco enzyme because it was easy to make.

"This is the easiest way to protect the environment," he stated.
