Maritime Museum to hold Temporary Exhibition on Sultan Agung's Struggle

The Jakarta Maritime Museum Management Unit cooperates with the Pleret Bantul Museum is about to hold a temporary exhibition with the theme 'Segawarana Bertahta Bumi, Menyelam Samudra Berkibar Melintas Masa' (Segawarana Bertahta Bumi, Diving the Ocean that Flutters Through Time) at Maritime Museum, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. "Sultan Agung's great dream is to unite the archipelago by controlling the land and sea from the shackles of VOC colonialism," he expressed, Wednesday (10/25).

Aside that, it will also display various collections about the history of Sultan Agung, cultural products of Sultan Agung, and maps of Mataram in the mini museum area. Then a 3D hologram of the history of Islamic Mataram in Kota Gede and a 3D hologram of a keris.
"The exhibition will be open from 8 AM to 4 PM. Especially on October 28, the exhibition will be open until 8 PM," he uttered.
