Anwar Gives Additional Food to Stunted Toddlers in Susukan

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar and TP PKK Chairman, Dian Anwar, distributed additional food assistance to two stunted toddlers, Friday (10/27). It was accompanied by the provision of basic food packages and money for 40 orphans at the Al Muhajirin Musala, Jalan Suci Gang Saibun, RT 10/04 Susukan Urban Village, Ciracas.

"It is a routine activity every Friday to get closer and collect directly the residents' complaints," expressed East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar.

He asserted that orphans and stunted toddlers need to receive special attention and ensure that their needs are met, as they are the nation's successors.

Anwar Monitors Providing Nutritious Food to Stunted Toddlers

"For stunted toddlers, we intervene by providing additional food. We also ensure that we follow the orders of the Health Minister in handling stunting," he explained.

On that occasion, he also promised to meet the request of the Muala Al Muhajirin caretakers to install air conditioning, thus children's activities in reciting the Koran and residents who worship feel comfortable.

"Insya Allah, in two days, we will install AC in this prayer room," he asserted.

Susukan Urban Village DKM Chairman, KH Abdul Fatah expressed his thanks and appreciation to the mayor and his staff who have assisted orphans and stunted toddlers in their region.

"Thank you to the Mayor who cares about his residents," he stated.
