The channel normalization work on Jalan H Agus Salim, Gondangdia, Menteng, Central Jakarta has reached 80 percent.

Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Acting Governor, Adrian Mara Maulana said the normalization was carried out, because the channel was old.

"We send one excavator unit to replace the u-ditch with dimensions of 80 centimeters," he explained.

"Hopefully, the channel can maximally accommodate water in the rainy season," he hoped.
