At the end of November, Construction of Dharma Jaya Meat Market Completed

Perumda Dharma Jaya is about to build a meat market in its office area located on Jalan Palasan, Cakung, East Jakarta.

The meat shop is equipped with supporting facilities

Perumda Dharma Jaya Business Director, Iwan Nusyirwan said the meat market construction on a 3,000-square-meter land is a big step in supporting local economic development which had an impact on the welfare of business actors to meet the community's need for animal protein.

He revealed the market has a strategic location and is surrounded by office, industrial, and residential areas. Its construction was targeted for completion by the end of this month.

"It will be the latest meat market that is efficient, innovative, and in line with current technological developments. Its construction has been underway since early October 2023, with a target to complete construction at the end of November 2023," he expressed, Monday (11/13).

He explained the reefer container with a total capacity of 360 tonnes would also be built at the Dharma Jaya Meat Market to maintain the quality and freshness of the meat. Aside that, the 13 butcher shops with each shop measuring 3 x 5 meters would also be built at the same location.

Its electricity burden for the referral container is borne by the company and facility maintenance is carried out regularly, thus quality is maintained. Each reefer container warehousing area will also be guarded by security officers 24 hours a day and equipped with surveillance cameras or (CCTV).

"The meat shop is equipped with supporting facilities in the form of clean toilets, a janitor's room, 24-hour security guards, and a safe parking area," he expressed.

He added the meat market is an important part of the food supply chain amidst the increasing need for animal protein food.

"The meat market plays a central role in ensuring the availability of safe, healthy, whole and halal animal protein as a standard for meeting needs in society," he added.
