Channel's Length of Karang Taruna Building on Panggang Island Extended

The Seribu Islands Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA) has increased the channels' length in the sub-district Karang Taruna youth organization building at RT 02/03, Panggang Island, North Seribu Islands.

This work has been ongoing since November 22 and is targeted for completion tomorrow

Panggang Island Urban Village SDA Coordinator, Aburizal Bakri said the channel length was extended to follow up on Karang Taruna's request because the septic tank in the building was full.

"This work has been ongoing since November 22 and is targeted for completion tomorrow," he said, Tuesday (11/28).

He explained the channel was extended to 30 meters. It was then connected to WWTP by using nine paralon rods with a width of four inches. It involved nine personnel.

"By so, the flow of waste disposal can become smoother and there will be no flooding again," he explained.

Panggang Island Urban Village Karang Taruna Chairman, Aditya Nugraha expressed his gratitude to SDA personnel who responded quickly to requests from their staff.

"This repair had been done last week. It is quite neat and fast," he stated.
