The Jakarta Provincial Government supports the central government's steps in anticipating climate change, global warming, and air pollution. According to him, the Jakarta Government continues to intensify tree planting together with the community and stakeholders. It was also conducted simultaneously in six administrative areas and districts of Jakarta, as well as eight areas in Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Bodetabek) areas.

In the meantime, the President expressed his appreciation to the Jakarta Government and all parties who have participated in anticipating climate change. He also encouraged residents to start planting trees in their respective environments.
"The same action will also be realized simultaneously in all provinces in Indonesia in the context of climate change, global warming, and overcoming the pollution that we already feel is happening," he explained.
It was also participated by nine cities and districts in Greater Jakarta with a total of 22,800 trees planted. It was carried out in schools residential areas, offices, green open spaces, the border of the river, and up to the road. In Jakarta, 1,320 trees were planted in the Pulogadung Industrial Area City Forest, 3,000 trees in Seribu Islands, 3,090 trees in North Jakarta, 3,330 trees in Central Jakarta, 3,210 trees in West Jakarta, 4,020 trees in East Jakarta, and 3,350 trees in South Jakarta.
Meanwhile, 450 trees were also planted in Bogor Regency, 195 trees were in Bogor City, 100 trees were in Bekasi Regency, 120 trees were in Bekasi City, 165 trees were in South Tangerang City, 150 trees were in Tangerang City, 100 trees were in Tangerang Regency, and 200 trees were in Depok City.
