For the public, let's be proactive in reporting if we know of an act of corruption
The Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) achievement of the Jakarta Government Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) obtained a score of 97 and one of the things appreciated was the effort to secure assets through certifying Regional Property (BMD) in the form of 2,355 plots of land in six regions.
"It indicates that the Jakarta Government is already in the highest zone and everyone who uses the application in certain zones is doing well. We'll continue the Regional Government Information System or SIPD. If it is 97, only three percent remains, maintaining it is good enough," expressed Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono after he attended the commemoration of World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) 2023 at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (12/12).

The Hakordia series of events was opened directly by the President, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo.
The President explained the synergy of all pillars in eradicating corruption needed to continue to be built. He assessed, improvements to the governance system and better public services must be immediately implemented to prevent corruption and early detection of violations committed by Law Enforcement Officials (APH) and Ministries/Institutions and Regional Governments (KLPD).
"Prevent unscrupulous individuals from causing damage with their actions that benefit themselves or the group, but destroy institutions and justice for society. For the public, let's be proactive in reporting if we know of an act of corruption or receive an invitation to be involved in an act of corruption," he explained.
He asserted his commitment to strengthening the KPK, thus people's hopes for a Golden Indonesia 2045 can be achieved through synergy with all parties including the community, business world, academics, and anti-corruption activists.
He also reminded that the strategy for eradicating corruption needs to be sharpened, thus targets for eradicating corruption could be achieved more quickly through strengthening regulations and implementing an Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE).
"Technology needs to be used more massively across all sectors to ensure faster public services. The use of modern information technology in eradicating corruption can increase transparency, accountability and close corruption loopholes," he asserted.
