Jakarta Wins Naker Award 2023

The Jakarta Provincial Government consistently continues to pay attention to the sustainability of the world of work ecosystem, which prioritizes the interests and rights of its residents. It was proven by the achievement of awards in four categories at the Naker Award 2023 event, which took place at Balai Sarbini, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Friday (1/12).

This award was given directly by the Manpower Minister, Ida Fauziyah to the Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency (Nakertransgi) Head, Hari Nugroho as a form of appreciation for the performance that has been conducted in developing the employment development climate in Jakarta.

Jakarta Nakertransgi Agency Head, Hari Nugroho gratitude to all stakeholders who have collaborated in maintaining a good employment climate, according to the direction of Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, Jakarta is directed to become a global business city in the future.

"We would like to express our gratitude, especially to the Acting Governor who has provided direction and guidance to us all this time. Hopefully, it will be an encouragement to continuously innovate to make Jakarta a global city, a smart and modern city," he expressed, in the Jakarta Government's press release.

He would also keep maintaining the work ethic of his staff to continuously improve and innovate, thus employment in Jakarta has a healthy, safe climate and can make the workforce more developed.

"We'll continue to work better, and strengthen coordination across sectors and related stakeholders. This is for the sake of guaranteeing the rights and needs of workers in Jakarta, thus the working climate becomes healthier," he concluded.

As for the information, Jakarta won four categories in the Naker Award, as follows:

1. First National Best Rank for Employment Affairs in the Medium Category with an Index of 82.50

2. Achieve the best Main Indicator of Employment Opportunities in the Employment Development Index 2022

3. Achieve the best Main Indicator of Working Environment Conditions in the Employment Development Index 2022

4. Achieve the best Main Indicator of Social Security for Labor in the Employment Development Index 2022
