Transjakarta's Corridor XIII Flyover Project Targeted to Finish in August

Jakarta Provincial Government continues to speed up the construction of Transjakarta bus' corridor XIII Flyover with route from Kapten Tendean-Blok M-Ciledug. Currently, the project has entered the stage of foundation pillars drilling in Kebayoran Lama, Taman Puring, and Kapten Tendean.

I hope all could be finished at the beginning of 2016

“The project is still under stage of foundation pillars drilling, thus it is still in a small percentage,” said Head of Jakarta Bina Marga's Overpass and Intersection Division Department, Heru Suwondo, Sunday (3/29).

The Longest Flyover Construction Started

Suwondo explains the drilling begins from kebayoran Lama, Taman Puring, and Kapten Tendean. It was slated to finish in August 2015. "It will finish within six months, starting from March-August," he predicted.

Suwondo expressed after the drilling is done, the next step will be continued with installation of file cap, pier, pier head and box. “Road constriction only happens when the pillars being constructed, considering it takes six meters,” he explained.

According to him, the project is targeted to finish in 2015 and continued with another project at the top could be executed in 2016.

"I hope all could be finished at the beginning of 2016,” he hoped.
