Acting Governor Accompanies Transportation Minister to Attend Personnel Ceremony

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono accompanied the Transportation Minister, Budi Karya Sumadi at the Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024 Troop Operation ceremony with PT Kereta Api Indonesia at the Ceremonial Field on the South Side of Gambir Station, Central Jakarta, Thursday (12/21).

Transportation Minister, Budi Karya Sumadi expressed today's ceremony was held to strengthen the personnel's willingness to serve Jakarta residents. Not only from KAI's internal officers, synergy from various elements was also important.

"We have to make sure everything goes well. Because this Christmas holiday is widely used by people who travel. There are at least 107 million people who will take homecoming and trip during the Christmas celebrations," he expressed.

Acting Governor Heru Harvests Together and Launches Cheap Food

He instructed all personnel on duty during Christmas and New Yer to work with heart and sincerity. By so, the services provided could truly be delivered to the community.

"We know that this enthusiasm will be felt later. As public servants, we must prepare in detail the departure times, arrival times, security and terror dangers, thus they are well coordinated," he added.

He also appreciated all personnel who worked and served wholeheartedly, without taking a day off, getting so hot they did not go home.

"I thank you and have high hopes that this Christmas homecoming will run smoothly," he uttered.
