Inaugurating Musala Al Fauz, Acting Governor Hopes It will Benefit Locals

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, inaugurated the Al Fauz Musala, located in the courtyard of the Cempaka Putih Sub-district Office, Jalan Rawa Kerbau Office Complex No. 316, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Thursday (12/28).

According to him, the prayer room was built to complement the facilities around the Cempaka Putih Sub-district Office, which can also be used by locals.
"This is part of the mayor and sub-district head's attention to complete the sub-district office building with prayer facilities, namely musala (prayer rooms)," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.

Fauzi explained the prayer room construction was carried out as an effort to improve services to the community in the form of providing facilities and infrastructure, making it easier to worship, especially for employees and visitors, as well as the surrounding people.
Its construction has been carried out over the last three months, namely since the laying of the first stone on September 8, 2023. The 35-square-meter prayer room can accommodate approximately 40 congregations.
"The prayer room has been completed with the required permits in the form of a building construction permit issued by the Cempaka Putih Sub-district One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP)," he explained.
With the aesthetic shape of the prayer room, it was hoped that it would also attract people. It has an environmentally friendly concept, is surrounded by trees and grass, does not use air conditioning (AC) to maintain its beauty, and can also be used as a green open space for the community.
"It is a form of service to the community. We're happy because today it was inaugurated directly by the Acting Governor," he added.
It was conducted in synergy between the Cempaka Putih Sub-district State Civil Apparatus (ASN), namely from the PTSP Sub-agency and assisted by the Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA), Bina Marga Sub-agency, Parks and City Forest Sub-agency, and other related agencies.
