Attending Kodam Jaya's 74th Anniversary, Heru Appreciates Jakarta's Security Alertness

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono together with the Jakarta Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), attended the celebration of the Kodam Jaya's 74th anniversary, Friday (12/22).

The Kodam Jaya's 74th anniversary held at Kodam Jaya Headquarters, Cililitan, East Jakarta was attended by Pangdam Jaya Chief, Maj. Gen. Mohamad Hasan and Polda Metro Jaya Chief, Gen. Pol. Karyoto.

In his speech, he appreciated the alertness of Kodam Jaya officials in securing the city of Jakarta for a safe, orderly, and conducive atmosphere.

He hoped that the cooperation and synergy that had existed between the Jakarta Government, Kodam Jaya, and Polda Metro Jaya along with other ranks of Forkopimda, could be strengthened.

"Hopefully, it can run well, moreover we feel safe and protected," he expressed, in the Jakarta Government's press release.

Then he also hoped that the Kodam Jaya could continue to be at the forefront of securing the city of Jakarta and maintaining unity amidst the diversity of society.

"Congrats on the 74th anniversary, hopefully, the Kongdam Jaya will be more successful, solid, and tough in maintaining the security of Jakarta and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI)," he explained.

Pangdam Jaya Chief, Maj. Gen. Mohamad Hasan explained that Kodam Jaya has always had an important role in the history of the Indonesian nation. Hence, as the next generation, he wanted Kodam Jaya to inherit the fighting spirits of its predecessors by dedicating its best service to the nation and the NKRI.

"Surely, according to the times, today, we can work together to create a conducive, safe, and orderly atmosphere in Jakarta," he said.

Particularly, he expressed his appreciation to the Acting Governor who always provides full support to Kodam Jaya in various events and activities.

"I thank the Acting Governor for his full support. He is great and always supports every time Kodam Jaya carries out activities. He is always present and also encourages us and Polda Metro Jaya. So, we can always be together in strategic places and serve the community optimally. We can synergize down to the grassroots level. Of course, it can show the community that we are at the forefront of security and order in Jakarta," he asserted.

He hoped that Jakarta, as a barometer of Indonesia's security, would remain conducive. Also, the synergy between Kodam Jaya and stakeholders could be stronger and more complete in facing various obstacles in the future.
