The East Jakarta Health Sub-Department is about to totally renovate 6 community health centers (Puskesmas) that spread in East Jakarta in 2015.

This year, we will renovate six health centers to provide a better health service for the citizen

"This year, we will renovate 6 health centers to provide a better health service for the citizen," told East Jakarta Health Sub-Department Head, Iwan Kurniawan, Tuesday (3/31).

Those health centers that will be renovated are Pisangan Timur 2, Balimester, Makasar, Kampung Melayu, Cililitan, and Kampung Tengah. Furthermore, the project which is still in the tender planning process will spend Rp 4-4.5 billion. "If the fund is disbursed, we will immediately do renovation," he told.

Additionally, Kurniawan told, his side will also continue the last year's renovation about seven health centers, namely Rawabunga Urban Village health center, Penggilingan, Jati 1, Halim 2, Kampung Dukuh, Pondok Kelapa, and Klender 1.

"Each building will spend a fund of around Rp 1-1.6 billion. Currently, the renovation has reached 80 percent," he reported.
