3,558 Trees Prone to Fall in South Jakarta Pruned

We're also on standby to follow up if there are complaints from residents via CRM

The South Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency has noted that as many as 3,558 trees spread across ten sub-districts have been pruned from January to February 2023.

Green Belt and Cemetery Division Head, Arwin Barus stated that from 3,558 trees, 538 were pruned at minor level, 2,208 were pruned at medium level, and 812 were pruned at heavy level.

2,341 Trees in South Jakarta Pruned

"We have also cut down 138 trees whose conditions are tilted and their bottom is fragile, which aims to prevent unwanted things from happening," he expressed, Monday (3/13).

In the same month, his party also cut down 68 fallen trees due to heavy rain and strong winds.

According to him, the task force personnel in sub-district and sub-agency offices are routinely inspected every day in the field, to prune trees prone to falling.

"We're also on standby to follow up if there are complaints from residents via CRM," he stated.
