West Jakarta Environment Sub-agency Head, Achmad Hariadi said every day six personnel of Water Agency UPS are deployed to clear waste at Pesanggrahan Water Gate in turns.
"Pesanggrahan River is prone to waste carried in the streams from its upstream. Moreover, it often rains now. That's why we clean it regularly," he expressed, Friday (1/12).

The waste collected could reach one ton consisting of various types of waste such as plastic waste, tree branches or twigs, and so forth.
Munadi (61), a resident of RT 03/05, Kedoya Selatan Urban Village, appreciated the quick actions of the personnel who cleaned up waste at the Pesanggrahan River Water Gate.
