Bina Marga to Build Four JPOs with Modern Feel This Year

The Jakarta Bina Marga Agency is about to build pedestrian bridges (JPOs) in four locations this year.
Physical construction is possible in April or May 2024
The four JPOs that will be built are Mas Mansyur JPO, Sunter Barat JPO, PGC Cililitan JPO, and Dukuh JPO (Jalan Raya Pondok Gede).
Jakarta Bina Marga Agency Head, Heru Suwondo assessed JPOs at these locations that needed to be built, as they included road equipment to reduce the rate of accidents.

According to him, the bridge would be three meters wide and would be friendly for people with disabilities, the elderly, and pregnant women because it would have lifts on both sides of the bridge.
"The shape is artistic, each bridge is different. It's not just functional but aesthetically pleasing to the eye, it can be used for taking photos of pedestrians and can accommodate people with disabilities, there is also lighting and some use elevators," he uttered.
He added the bridge design had been completed in 2023 and was currently entering construction planning.
"Physical construction is possible in April or May 2024," he stated.
