Main Path for KAA Participants Cleaned

As many as 750 personnels joint officer held communal work for cleaning the road along Jalan Raya Halim Perdana Kusuma, East Jakarta. It was conducted due to the road will be a main path for Asia-Africa Summit (KAA) participants which will be held on April 19-24 in Jakarta and Bandung.
These areas will be a main path for the foreign guests thus we should make it cleaner, beautiful and comfortably viewed
The areas which were being cleaned as far as 3 kilometers start from in front of airport gate to city toll entry at Jalan MT Haryono. Besides cleaning the road, they were also filling the damage roads, painting the kanstein, tidying up park, pruning some leafy trees. Those joint officers involved in this action consists of Satpol PP, Air Force Army, Communications and Transportations, Cleanliness, Bina Marga, Water Management Sub-Departmens and the local Sub-district and Urban Village.
"These areas will be a main path for the foreign guests thus we should make it cleaner, beautiful and comfortably viewed," said East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana, Friday (4/10).
Welcoming KAA, City Parks BeautifiedMeanwhile, Head of Satpol PP, Hartono added, such communal work which involved 750 joint personnels was conducted as the contribution for implementation of KAA. Hence, his party will also help secure the area and participate to clean the environment.
"Starting for today, we clean up all the path for the foreign guests. Including control the street vendors and illegal parking. Then when the day of KAA, we are also going to help securing the area," he disclosed.
