309,633 Campaign Properties Controlled in Jakarta

Jakarta Satpol PP, Monday (2/12), has controlled 309,633 campaign properties in five administration areas and Seribu Island.

We'll keep controlling campaign props up to tomorrow, February 13

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin, explained the controlled props were 155,447 banners, 26,861 billboards, 100,941 flags, 16,340 stickers, and others by 10,044.

Arifin admitted that his side also cooperated with related units such as mayors, sub-district heads, Urban Village heads, community, army/police, KPU, Bawaslu, and representative from political parties, legislative, and presidential candidates.

55,000 Campaign Props in Central Jakarta Removed

He added that the controlling is based on Act No 7/2017 about General Election and General Election Commission Regulation No 15/2023.

"We'll keep controlling campaign props up to tomorrow, February 13," he added.

The number of controlled props are as below;

a. Central Jakarta: 66,102 props

b. North Jakarta: 29,528 props

c. West Jakarta: 52,966 props

d. South Jakarta: 75,965 props

e. East Jakarta: 78,488 props

f. Seribu Island: 3,018 props

g. Province: 3,566 props
