76,494 Campaign Props in East Jakarta Removed

Since Sunday (2/11) early yesterday until Monday (2/12) this morning, it was recorded that 76,494 campaign props or APK had been removed in the East Jakarta area. This action will continue until Tuesday (2/13) tomorrow.

Sweeping is still being done today and tomorrow

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Budhy Novian said currently his party together with other related officials and community elements are focusing on targeting the attributes installed on neighborhood roads and residential areas.

As for protocol roads such as Jalan Ahmad Yani, Jalan DI Panjaitan, Jalan Raya Bogor, Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan and several other roads have been cleaned.

69,655 Campaign Props in South Jakarta Removed

"Since yesterday until this morning, the number of props that have been removed in East Jakarta has reached 76,494. Predictably, this number will continue to increase until tomorrow," he expressed.

He explained as many as 76,494 props removed were 16,381 banners, 8,909 billboards, and 23,566 banners.

Then 15,986 were flags, 4,350 were pamphlets, and others were 7,302 pieces.

Kramat Jati Sub-district Panwascam, Umi Wastiyah ensured there were no longer any props flying around in her region.

Together with related units, his party keeps conducting sweeping to remove campaign props that are still installed on neighborhood or village roads.

"Sweeping is still being done today and tomorrow. Because in this calm period, everything must be clean, no more props," she asserted.
