Jakarta Library and Archive Agency (Dispusip) is targeting 32 RPTRA libraries to get accreditation certificate from National Library this year.
Of 324 RPTRA libraries in Jakarta, 40 of them have received accreditation
Agency Head, Firmansyah, said the 32 recommended libraries have met the National Library Standard (SNP).
He detailed that there are six basic components for a library to obtain an SNP, namely collections, infrastructure, types of services, personnel or human resources, library administration and management.

According to him, there were 40 libraries getting accreditation during 2022 up to 2023. 15 libraries in 2022 and 25 libraries in 2023.
"Of 324 RPTRA libraries in Jakarta, 40 of them have received accreditation. Our target this year is 32 libraries," he added.
Firman stated that accreditation certificate means a library is already recognized nationally. National Library will decided which accreditation to be received, A, B, or C. Accreditation A is valid for five years, B for four years and C for three years.
