Vice Governor Hoped 2016 City Budget use Local Bylaw

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat, hoped 2016 City Budget would use local bylaw rather than gubernatorial regulations which is applied in this year. Hence, the Regional Development Planning Forum (Musrenbang) which is held gradually always involve all sides ranging from RT/RW caretakers to City Council (DPRD) circles.

"We push thus 2016 City Budget is no longer use gubernatorial regulations but local bylaw. As its process starts from the beginning," said Djarot, after attending 2016 Musrenbang, at City Hall, Tuesday (4/14).

The former Mayor of Blitar uttered, the Musrenbang program is the beginning process of City Budget drafting. Thus all side should be involved in order to the implementation would be right on target. It is admitted, communications and harmonization between executives and legislative is very needed for running the government's wheel.

No More Problem for City Budget, Kumolo Says

According to him, the suggestions from each level can be known through Musrenbang, whether from community, local government, or the city council itself. As eventually the result of Musrenbang will be a base for drafting the city's budget priorities and preliminary thresholds(KUA-PPAS).

He asserted, e-Musrenbang will be applied starting this year. It is not the first time. Previously, Jakarta Provincial Government also has applied e-government. Where each program should be interrelated using electronic system such as e-planning and e-budgeting.

"Our spirit is how the planning process could be quality thus we always tell it's not about e-budgeting but what come inside the e-budgeting that should be quality especially the programs," he disclosed.
