3,737 Tourists Throng to Seribu Islands Along Nyepi Holiday

The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) has noted that as many as 3,737 tourists have visited tour sites in Seribu Islands from March 9 to 12, 2024 along Nyepi holiday.
Many tourists can have a positive impact
Seribu Islands Parekraf Sub-agency Head, Sonti Pangaribuan said tourists arrived via ports of Jakarta and Tangerang such as, Marina Ancol, Kaliadem, Tanjung Pasir, and Cituis," he expressed, Wednesday (3/13).
Of 3,737 tourists, 1,332 came via Marina Ancol Port, 1,968 were via Muara Angke Port, 335 were via Tanjung Pasir Port, and 102 were via Cituis Port.

According to him, tourist visits continue to increase every year. Residential islands are still a favorite among tourists, including Pari Island, Tidung Island, Pramuka Island, and Untung Jawa Island
"Hopefully, many tourists can have a positive impact on the accommodation, transportation, lodging and food, and beverage business sectors on each island," he explained.
He urged tourists who would visit the Seribu Islands to be alert in extreme weather conditions like now.
"They still need to monitor weather forecasts from BMKG to get a comfortable holiday," he stressed.
One of the tourists from Bekasi, Saidina Ali (28), admitted that with the family, he spent the holidays by visiting Untung Jawa Island.
"I stayed for two days. There're many destinations that can be visited, such as Penganten Bridge, Sakura Beach, and diving at Nemo Park, as well as enjoying the sunset on the beach," he stated.
