The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency has noted that as many as 10,945 local and foreign tourists have visited tour sites during long weekend from February 8 to 11, 2024.
As more tourists come, the local economy also improves
Promotion and Creative Economy Attraction Section Head, Ahmad Farihin said thousands of tourists arrived via Marina Ancol, Kaliadem, Tanjung Pasir, and Cituis piers.

Long Holiday, 55,000 Tourists Flock to TMIIOn the first day of the holiday, Thursday (2/8), as many as 3,987 tourists visited, consisting of 3,351 local tourists and 68 foreign tourists. Then, on the second day of holiday, Friday (2/9), there were 2,265 local tourists and 41 foreign tourists who visited.
Then on Saturday (2/10), there were 3,985 tourists who traveled to Seribu Islands, consisting of 3,795 local tourists and 190 foreign tourists. On Sunday (2/11), there were 736 local tourists and 49 foreign tourists.
He explained the high number of tourists was due to easy access, adequate facilities, and affordable accommodation prices.
Most visited Sunrise Beach on Pramuka Island, Japanese Village on Untung Jawa Island, Virgin Beach on Pari Island, Dancing Fountain on the Cinta Bridge on Tidung Island, and many others.
Tourism Awareness Group Pramuka Island Urban Village (Pomdarwis) Chair, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands, Hermansyah uttered that to attract more tourists, his party offers various marine activities ranging from snorkeling, diving, fishing, exploring empty islands, to turtle breeding.
