Heru Attends Declaration of South Jakarta as Complete City

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, welcomed the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR)/National Land Agency (BPN), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono in the context of declaring the South Jakarta Aadministration as a Complete City.
This makes things easier, adds comfort, increases accuracy and security for the Jakarta Government
Previously, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Central Jakarta were first designated as Complete Cities.
By declaring an area to be a Complete Regency/City, it means that all existing land areas have been recorded and mapped. It could smoothen local governments to organize their territory, especially making taxation policies, implementing electronic systems, explaining legal certainty of land rights for both state and community assets, minimizing face-to-face interaction, and eradicating the land mafia.
Acting Governor Heru Hands Over LKPD 2023 to BPKAside that, the electronic services for the West Jakarta, North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and South Jakarta City Land Administration Offices were also launched. The implementation of electronic services is a form of commitment from the central government through the Jakarta Government and the ATR/BPN Ministry, thus people can get their rights in a faster process.
"This makes things easier, adds comfort, increases accuracy and security for the Jakarta Government, as the certificate submitted is an electronic (land) certificate. Because of electronic system, it means that the password and pin are held by an official appointed by the governor and when you move of course they can be updated. Our enthusiasm is to support the Ministry of ATR/BPN's program, thus people can get their rights," he expressed, at Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday (4/2).
Further, the Jakarta Government continues to improve the community's welfare, one of which is through the Row House Program. The program aims to improve the quality of settlements by repairing uninhabitable houses. In 2023, the program will be further refined by implementing the Land Consolidation concept in accordance with ATR Ministerial Regulation Number 12/2019 and inviting community participation through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The Jakarta Government begins Land Consolidation work after reaching 100% agreement.
Then the program developed into Vertical Land Consolidation (KTV), which was not limited to physical buildings, but also the arrangement of land ownership rights (strata title), thus this program would change the face of urban Jakarta as a whole.
At the same place, ATR Minister/BPN Head, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono also submitted 703 electronic land certificates. 700 certificates were sent to the Jakarta Government and 3 other certificates were for people who live in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and West Jakarta.
"We're ready to synergize and collaborate. Jakarta is a big and dynamic city, always an engine of domestic growth, but also continuing to pursue its status as a world-class city. Of course, we have to look after it together, one of which is land matters," he explained, in the Jakarta Government's press release.
He explained the handover of certificates and the launch of electronic services showed that the spirit of digital transformation in land certification matters was continuing. Not only that, the declaration of Complete Cities is also part of the ATR/BPN Ministry's target to realize 104 complete regencies/cities throughout Indonesia by 2024.
"This is part of a national movement and hopefully it can be not only a digital breakthrough, but actually an advantage if the city/district is declared complete, especially if it can fully run its electronic services," he uttered.
