1,428 Patients Enjoy 24-hour Services at Tanah Abang Puskesmas

During the holidays for Idul Fitri 1445 Hijri, all community health centers or Puskesmas spread across Jakarta are still open 24-hour and emergency services. At the Tanah Abang Sub-district Puskesmas for instance, from Saturday (4/6) to Friday (4/12), there were about 1,428 patients.

Most patients are diagnosed with common cold, dyspepsia, and hypertension

Tanah Abang Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Ovi Norviana said the services provided were 24-hour services and a delivery room. Meanwhile, services at auxiliary puskesmas only apply to general services from 8 AM to 12 PM.

"Our service is open 24 hours during the Idul Fitri holiday," she expressed, Saturday (4/13).

She went on to say that the total number of patient visits during the seven days since Saturday (4/6) touched 1,428 patients with an average number of visits per day of 204 people.

"Most patients are diagnosed with common cold, dyspepsia, and hypertension," she continued.

Central Jakarta Sub-agency Head, Rismasari confirmed that similar services would also be provided in nine other sub-districts in Central Jakarta. She also set up two health posts at Senen Station and Gambir Station from April 5 to 16, 2024.

"The personnel at the Health Post are from ten puskesmas in Central Jakarta consecutively. Services are divided into two shifts, namely shift 1 from 7 AM to 2 PM, and shift 2 from 2 PM to 9 PM," she stated.
