South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency keeps maintaining optimal service for residents during and after Eid holidays.

South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Syamsul Huda, said 225 personnel are deployed 24 hours with three shifts.

Huda added that personnel were also standby during Eid holiday. They were spread to posts in 10 sub-districts in South Jakarta.
"We must standby and react quickly," he added.
Meanwhile, Sub-agency's apparatus, Ruwanto, explained his side not only handled fire during Eid holiday, but also assisted residents such as evacuating wild animals, car got stuck, and so on.
"We also cleaned protocol roads, Jalan RA Kartini, Kebayoran Lama, by deploying four personnel and one truck," he added.
He detailed, there were two fire incidents in South Jakarta; Tuesday (4/9) or Eid's eve on Jalan Langgar, Menteng Dalam, Tebet, and Thursday (4/11) or one day after Eid, on Jalan H Kuno, Grogol Selatan Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama.
"All incidents were reported by residents to us. Then we quickly responded," he stated.
