Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal Management together with Indonesian Police, Monday (4/22) held coaching for offline taxi drivers at the terminal.
There are 15 offline taxi drivers operate at this terminal
Kampung Rambuta Bus Terminal Head, Yulza Ramadhoni, said the coaching was carried out following the viral incident of unscrupulous offline taxi drivers clashing with disabled passengers who had just got off the AKAP bus at the terminal, Saturday (4/20).

He added that his party has asked offline taxi drivers to stop intimidating or banning online taxis from entering the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal. This means that all offline and online transportation services can pick up passengers in the terminal area.
"There are 15 offline taxi drivers operate at this terminal. We ensure that we will carry out an evaluation of the transportation mode transfer services available at this terminal, so that it is more orderly." he added.
Meanwhile, Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal Police Post Head, Ipda Budiyono, requests both offline and online taxi drivers to be more orderly and understand each other.
"If a legal violation occurs, of course it will be processed according to applicable law," he stated.
Irwanto (38), one of online taxi drivers appreciated the terminal management's policy for allowing online taxi pick up passenger.
"It is hoped there will be no more problem," he hoped.
