10 Firetrucks Handle Fire in Kayu Putih

As many as 10 firetrucks with 50 personnel from East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency extinguished fire at two story house on Jalan Pulomas Barat VI, RT 12/11, Kayu Putih Urban Village, Pulogadung, Tuesday (4/23).
It was caused by LPG cylinder explosion
East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Gatot Sulaeman, explained the incident happened at 3:40 PM and extinguished at 4:20 PM.

Based on information gathered, fire was firstly seen on one of rooms of the house. Luckily the occupants were able to escape.
"There is no victims caused by the incident," he added.
Meanwhile, Kayu Putih Urban Village Head, Tuti Sugihastuti, stated her side also deployed 20 PPSU personnel to assist firefighter personnel. There were also Babinsa Bimaspol up to Satpol PP personnel.
"The house is occupied by three people. One woman with her two sons," she stated.
