Because of total renovation since August 2014, the service of Tanjung Priok Sub-District's Community Health Center (Puskesmas), North Jakarta, forced to be moved to another place at Jalan Ende and Papanggo Puskesmas.

We know this problem, but we have handled it well

"At Jalan Ende, there are medical facilities, like public clinic, laboratory, dental poly, and eyes poly. Then for the maternity service, ultrasonography (USG), and things that related to childbirth, we can find them in Papanggo Puskesmas," told Head of Tanjung Priok Puskesmas, Yudi Dimyati, Monday (4/20).

Howeve r, due to lack of parking lot, the puskesmas service in such place has caused patient queue to get the service

"We know this problem, but we have handled it well," told Dimyati.

To avoid patients queue, he furthered, people are encouraged to use medical care facilities in urban village puskesmas. "The second solution is I have done socialization to residents to use medical facilities in 13 urban village puskesmas, instead of sub-district puskesmas," he expressed.

After renovation is complete, the Tanjung Priok Sub-District Puskesmas' status would be upgraded to sub-district hospital. He hoped, it could complete immediately to maximize the health service.
