Repairs to the water channel sheet pile on Jalan Merak IV, RT 02/08, Bintaro Urban Village, Pesanggrahan Sub-district, South Jakarta which started on April 23, 2024 have now been completed.

Thanks God, it was completed already yesterday

Pesanggrahan Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Coordinator, Halim said repairs to the sheet pile were a must, which aim to prevent further damage and trigger water flow obstruction due to landslides.

"Thanks God, it was completed already yesterday," he expressed, Wednesday (5/8).

He explained as many as six personnel were deployed to repair the sheet pile as long as 12 meters and 50 centimeters high.

It was expected to be able to accommodate water optimally and minimize flooding in the rainy season.

"Locals must also take care of this sheet pile by not littering," he stressed.

This work received appreciation from one of the residents, Aziz Zakaria (45).

"We're very happy that the sheet pile repairs have been completed. I will help monitor it later," he closed.
