Long Holiday, 130,000 Tourists Throng to Ancol

As many as 130,000 tourists have visited the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol tourist area, during the long holiday from May 9 to 11.

Until this afternoon, the Ancol area was still crowded with visitors

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk's Corporate Communication, Ariyadi Eko Nugroho expressed that on Thursday (5/9), the total number of visitors was 52,000 people, 29,000 on Wednesday (5/10), and 49,000 tourists on Saturday (5/11).

According to him, visitors had been coming to the Ancol area since morning and the number was increasing in the afternoon.

"Until this afternoon, the Ancol area was still crowded with visitors. Since three days ago, the number of visitors recorded has reached 130,000," he said, Sunday (5/12).

Most visitors visited Ancol Lagoon Beach and Carnaval, as well as amusement rides in Dufan, such as Ecovention, Ocean Dream Samudra, and Atlantis Water Adventure.

"We deploy all personnel in the field, thus visitors can travel comfortably, safely, and are satisfied," he asserted.

One the visitors from Bekasi, Kartika (29), admitted she never gets bored of visiting the Ancol area, because it offers many various attractions and musical entertainment.

"Even though there are many visitors, we can still enjoy the tourist facilities here. The children are very happy when invited to go on holiday to Ancol," he stated.
