"Jakarta has an international scale event called the Jakarta International Marathon which is planned to be held on June 23, 2024, to commemorate the city's 497th anniversary. At the same time, the Jakarta Government will push promotions or branding related to the event in question at 20 KM de Bruxelles 2024," he furthered.
Marketing and Attraction Division Head, Sherly Yuliana explained participation in the 20 KM de Bruxelles activity was by building a Jakarta booth covering an area of 25 square meters.
Her party also sent two pairs of Abang None Jakarta as running participants and branding, carrying the JAKIM flag. They also provided information about JAKIM to booth visitors.
Besides promoting tourist destinations, through the largest theme parks in Indonesia, namely PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol and Dunia Fantasi, the Jakarta Tourist Pass program from PT Bank DKI was also introduced at this 20 KM de Bruxelles event.
"Aside that, a series of other activities include giving JAKIM merchandise to those who register directly at the location, quizzes for visitors by Abnon as a crowd puller, performances by Betawi dancers and musicians, promotion of JAKIM events and other Jakarta tourist destinations at the Jakarta Government booth," she said.
