She explained those animals were distributed from Central Java and East Java, and some were from Lampung. Several animals from outside the area had entered shelters in Jakarta, experiencing trip stress, usually caused by long trips in hot weather conditions.
Aside that, her agency has been cooperating with the Subang Veterinary Center for testing blood samples ensuring that qurban livestock in Jakarta is free from zoonotic diseases.
"We give them medicines and vitamins to those who experience trip stress. Thus far, six animals have been detected with eye pain, diarrhea, and difficulty standing. However, we have not found any cases of animals contracting anthrax to date," she explained.

Her agency had made internal and external coordination ahead of Idul Adha. External coordination was made with regional suppliers of qurban animals through veterinary authority officials (POV).
"So, we can ensure that all qurban animals entering Jakarta are healthy and complete with administrative documents. One of the internal coordination is with the Jakarta PMPTSP Agency because they are the ones who issue permits to import animals into Jakarta," she closed.
