Satpol PP Re-socializes Bylaw on Dengue Control to the Public

Jakarta Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) is re-socializing regulations related to Bylaw Number 6/2007 on Control of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) to the public.

Article 3, states that preventing dengue fever is the responsibility of the Regional Government and the community

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin said the bylaw contains rules and obligations for the community to actively support and make joint efforts to prevent dengue fever, including obligations for related regional officials.

"Article 3 in the bylaw, states that preventing dengue fever is the responsibility of the Regional Government and the community which can be done through the efforts of PSN 3M Plus, PJB, surveillance, and socialization," he expressed, Thursday (6/6).

E. Jakarta Satpol PP Implements Fines to Suppress Dengue Cases

According to him, Jakarta is an area that has the potential to become endemic for dengue fever. Therefore, the eradication of mosquito nests and larvae must be intensified jointly by the local government and the community.

"It is a hoax that Satpol PP will immediately impose a fine by 50 million on residents whose homes are found to be larvae. There are stages," he stated.
