The topic that popped up in this topic is the revitalization of villages and cities in Jakarta in the context of tourism which offers great potential to improve the local economy, preserve cultural heritage, and increase the attractiveness of tourist destinations.

"Facing challenges in the context of sustainable tourism, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, requires collaborative efforts from all stakeholders, such as government, local authorities, tourism boards, creative industry professionals, community organizations, and international organizations such as UCLG ASPAC to work together to develop sustainable tourism strategies, implement responsible policies and encourage innovation in the creative field of the economy," he expressed, Tuesday (6/11).
On that occasion, Abang None Jakarta 2023 acted as a delegation from the Jakarta Provincial Government and represented the Kampung Condet Tourism Village, one of the villages that preserve the Betawi culture of the indigenous tribe of Jakarta.
Jakarta Parekraf Agency's Marketing and Attraction Section Head, Sherly Yuliana explained Kampung Condet is known for its pristine side of Jakarta in terms of its natural beauty, cultural diversity, and creative activities conducted by the local community, which are still attached to preserving the culture and cooperation of the village residents.
She explained Condet is the first Creative Village (Tourism Village) appointed by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy as a model tourist village in Jakarta in 2021, as it is one of the areas that excels in maintaining the authenticity and beauty of Betawi culture and has also been stated in Governor Decree Number 881/2019 on Team for the Acceleration of Arrangement and Development of the Condet Area as a Tourist Destination.
"Through this forum, it can find solutions or insights from several sources who understand these issues," she explained.
