Taman Sari Sub-district, West Jakarta held a fashion show to enliven Jakarta's 497th Anniversary. This event was participated by 20 participants from eight urban villages.

Taman Sari Sub-district, Tumpal Hasiholan, said his side provided various event to enliven Jakarta anniversary since June 20-21, 2024.

"One of the events is fashion show competition featuring children, students and PKK cadres wearing clothing and accessories made from recycled waste materials such as plastic, newsprint, cardboard and so on," he said, Friday (6/21).

Apart from that, his side also held bazar which was participated by Jakpreneur selling various culinary, fashion, art and so on.

Anisa Farah (23), one of fashion show participants, admitted happy to participate the competition.

"I represent Krukut Urban Village and displayed clothing designed from plastic, paper and cardboard in the form of fairy clothing," she admitted.
