Jakarta Environment Agency deployed 1,000 personnel to handle trash after Jakarta International Marathon (JAKIM) 2024 event.

Not only personnel, tens of trucks namely inorganic truck, road sweeper, mini dump truck and compactor, including toilet bus, clean water truck, and used water truck were also deployed.

Jakarta Environment Agency Head, Asep Kuswanto, said personnel made sure the cleanliness of marathon route a night before.

"Our personnel cleaned the route after the Jakarta Anniversary celebration. We must make sure the route was sterile," he said, Monday (6/24).

Personnel, he added, totally collected 33 tons of trash after JAKIM 2024 event.

All route such as Monas, Jalan Sudirman, Jalan Thamrin, HI Roundabout, Jalan Semanggi, Jalan Asia Afrika, Gelora Bung Karno, and so on were handled fully by the personnel.

"We maximized our resources to smoothen Jakarta International Marathon 2024," he stated.
