Water Channel Repair on Jalan Dewa Uses Box Culvert

East Jakarta Water Resource Sub-agency repair broken water channel on Jalan Dewa RT 04/02 Ciracas Urban Village, by using box culvert in size of 60x60 centimeter.

It is targeted to complete in 15 days ahead

Ciracas Sub-district's Water Resource Taskforce Coordinator, Deby, said the installation of box culverts on the left and right sides of the road was carried out to replace the U Ditch concrete which was damaged due to frequent crossings by vehicles. The length on each side is 11 meters.

"Residents requesting to replace the box culvert," Deby said, Thursday (6/27).

According to Deby, channel repair has been running for three days by eight personnel. One heavy equipment is also deployed to speed up the process.

"It is targeted to complete in 15 days ahead," she stated.

Meanwhile, Ciracas Urban Village Head, Sudarna, thanked and appreciated since the residents' request has been responded. Hopefully the residents will no longer worry and vehicle can pass it safely.

"Previous channel cover was already damage. That's why residents requested to install new box culvert," he stated.
