Djarot: Regional Autonomy Isn't Merely PAD

The regional autonomy perspective seems still be erroneous perception among public. Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat asserted that it is not merely local revenue. Consequently, not a few of citizen overwhelmed with retribution fee or excessive task.

“Regional income is important, which function as one of prerequisite of regional autonomy, but the point is if a region has a stabile economic growth, and does citizen welfare, then it automatically increases,” he uttered.

Therefore, governments presence is needed to serve and help citizen to increase their economy.

“The objective must be focused on the service, the more government close to citizen, the closer relationship it will be,” he told.

In addition, regional autonomy is a best moment to show up the potential. Hence, they can innovate in exploring hidden potential.
