In order to prevent prostitution, Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat instructed the Population and Civil Registration Department (Dinas Dukcapil) and Jakarta Satpol PP to register all of apartment or low-cost flats occupants in capital.

"We instructed them to register all occupants without exception. If anyone refuses, report them to me. I will register them directly," told Djarot at IRTI Monas, Monday (4/27).
The former Mayor of Blitar added, all citizens are same in the government's eyes so there should be no special occupants. "Sometimes we found some people who very exclusive so we could not even get into their flats, but there is no exclusivity in this matter, all must be registered," told Djarot.

"This registration also includes the temporary occupants, not only who lives a year, but also the occupants who lives a month should be registered like the last program which requires to reporting after 1x24 hours," he uttered.
