Apart from planting trees, a jogging track area will also be created at this location so that residents can exercise at any time. To make it look natural, the reservoir sheet pile is left natural.
Meanwhile, East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin, explained the 150 trees planted today were sent from Seed Garden of City Park and Forestry and KPKP Agencies.
The 150 trees planted consisted of 27 Yellow Tabebuya trees, 15 Buttercup trees, five Spathodea trees, three Pulai trees, 50 Jamaican Guava and 50 Mango trees.
"The Batu Bangkong Reservoir has a very large area of land. So it is still possible to plant trees again in the future," he admitted.
