E-ID Card Blanko Forms in Central Jakarta Still Limited

Although the Bungur Urban Village, Senen Sub-District, chosen as a pilot of e-ID Card printing in Central Jakarta. But, its implementation is still unoptimal due to limited of e-ID Card blank forms.

We need more blank forms. The latest data, the city only received 300,000 blank forms

Bungur Urban Village Head, Achmad Nurufalah stated the blank forms is currently from Home Ministry which distributed through the Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department. Besides limited of blank forms, his party also needs more printing machine. The current printing machine is only one and cannot print 100 ID Cards each day.

300,000 Jakartans Have Not Received e-KTP

“We need more blank forms. The latest data, the city only received 300,000 blank forms. If it is distributed to all areas, its amount will be very limited,” he uttered, Monday (4/27).

According to him, the ID Card printing machine is much needed by people, considering the e-ID Card can be printed directly, as long as there is no change in the administration of the people.

“Such amount is very limited, because we all here already integrated with the system. We do printing in accordance with the capacity of the blank forms," he told.

He hopes the Population and Civil Registration Department could increase the amount of e-ID Card blank forms as soon as possible. Considering, its amount in Bungur Urban Village is still lac\king.

“We also want our equipment to be added, especially in sub-district. Thus we can serve locals in processing e-ID Card properly,” he disclosed.
