Pemkot Jakpus Gelar Audit Penanganan Stunting Semester Pertama 2024

C. Jakarta Administration Audits First Semester Stunting Handling

Central Jakarta administration is holding an audit of stunting handling in the first semester of 2024 in the pattern room of the mayor's office. The results of the audit will become recommendations for handling stunting in the following semester.

The target is to reduce the stunting case or zero case

Central Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Chaidir stated the audit aims to find the best efforts in handling stunting by targeting pregnant women, postpartum mothers, prospective brides, and toddlers.

"We try to reduce the stunting case by doing audits of cases and the handling that has been conducted," he expressed, Monday (7/15).

He went on to say that the audit is a follow-up to Central Jakarta's Decree regarding the formation of a stunting audit team from elements of the Health Sub-agency, Urban Village, PPAPP Sub-agency, as well as accompanied by nutritionists, midwifery experts, and psychologists.

Later on, discussions would be held on cases that had been selected as references for handling stunting in the Central Jakarta area.

"The target is to reduce the stunting case or zero case," he asserted.

Community Health Section Head, Carla Wuwungan explained stunting handling is divided into two aspects, namely specific and sensitive.

"Hopefully, the audit could update handling patterns and look for better formats," she explained.

She added audit samples were taken from the data bank for handling stunting in Central Jakarta. They were used as material for audit discussion based on a study of the highest prevalence sub-districts and service coverage related to infrastructure.

There were about 51 case samples to be discussed in the audit. They were spread across 14 loci from five sub-districts. "There will be recommendations to be followed up as handling efforts in the second semester," he stated.
